3 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari from Kampala
Day by day
Day 1
Kampala to Bwindi
Head southwest from Kampala on the long drive to Bwindi, about 8 hours, with a stop at the Equator on the way. Overnight in Bwindi.
Day 2
Gorilla trekking and the Batwa community
After an early briefing with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, trek into the forest to find a habituated gorilla family and spend an hour with them. Later, join a Batwa community walk to learn about the forest's original inhabitants.
Day 3
Bwindi to Kampala or Entebbe
Drive back to Kampala, or straight to Entebbe for your flight home.
